OUR MISSION
The mission of The
Culinary Companion.com is to educate, inspire, and assist individuals in
furthering their cooking abilities. We provide Free Recipes, Cooking Tips,
and Articles to promote the continuance of the culinary arts. Our goal is
to raise awareness of cooking and preparing
food, and to involve people of all ages in their effort to continue on
with
that art.
ABOUT US
The
Owner/Webmaster of this site, Jude Sutton, is a retired Executive
Chef and
has worked for 32 years in the Foodservice Industry.
He has
worked in
a number of Hotels, Hospitals, Private Clubs, and Private Restaurants. He
has also been a Consultant, and a Corporate Chef in
the Fresh Seafood
Industry.
He is a past member of:
The Texas Chef's Association (Dallas, Texas)
The American Culinary Federation
Affiliate of The Foodservice Consultants Society International
The American Management Association
Since
retirement in 1997 he has had a number of requests to create a site
for the exchange of information, and to promote the continuance of the
culinary arts.
In
January 2000 he opened
http://WhyleeKyotee.com as a culinary site.
It had grown over a three year period, and become diverse. Since the
popularity of the Free Recipe Section contributed to more than half of the
visitor hit's, in 2003 he decided it was time to move that section and give
it's own name, and place on the internet. Thus, The Culinary Companion.
He is assisted by a number of Professional and Domestic friends in this
endeavor, and welcomes anyone who has a similar goal. Sheila Cain of
BaumontLive is one of those people, and she originally designed the
header which has been modified for use on this site.
This site also
offers a shopping area called The Culinary Shoppe in which
you can purchase Cookbooks, Kitchen and Dining Room items, Foods and
Sauce Stocks, Wines and many more items for your pleasure and home.
